Her mission is to provide a powerfully unique massage experience of outstanding and unrivalled quality to recharge mind and body and help create a happier, healthier workplace. Nicky has a hands on approach to the business and her passion, expertise and dedication to exceeding client satisfaction are what define the Xhilarate Experience.

Favourite quote: ‘A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both’ – LP Jacks

Nina Jesih

Nina’s journey as a massage therapist began in November 2008 when she completed her NVQ in Beauty Therapy at LCBT. Soon after Nina gained her diploma she started working for Xhilarate and as such is our longest serving massage therapist. Since then she has undertaken both Foundation and Advanced training with Touch Pro in order to develop her massage technique. In addition, she has completed a one-day workshop with Walk-in Back Rub.

Nina believes that true healing comes from nourishing the mind, body and soul and therefore has a keen interest in educating herself in different areas of alternative medicine and massage.

In October 2014, she enrolled on course in Mindfulness and utilises this practise in both her massage therapy and personal life. Nina particularly enjoys seeing the immediate beneficial effects of massage in the workplace. She has received consistently positive feedback over the years and is one of our most requested therapists!

Aside from her professional life, Nina is passionate about cycling, running, music and spending time with family and friends.

She ran her first marathon in Brighton back in April 2017, followed by the Portsmouth marathon in December 2018 and amazingly tackled a half ironman in Lanzarote in October 2019. Nina is big fan of off-road running as she loves to be out in the fresh air amongst nature.

She loves to compete in OCR events like Tough Mudder, Spartan and Warrior Run which encourage positive teamwork.

However, her favourite sport is Cycling, and she cites taking part in the London 100 as one of her most memorable sporting achievements.

Since joining Xhilarate, Cara has followed her passion for healing and movement, and explored studies in Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Anatomy and Physiology, Iridology, Shamanism. Meditation and Breathing Techniques. As well as gaining further qualifications in Barre, Sound Therapy, & Yin Yoga.

Cara believes that onsite massage therapy is vital for releasing tension from the muscles, encouraging mind-body connection and relaxation, as well as serving as a simple reminder to slow down and breathe. She has extensive knowledge of the muscles, fascia and lymphatic drainage and her style of massage is influenced in part by studies in Thai Massage & Yoga. She also understands how the right pressure can sooth held or tense systems within the body to alleviate aches and restore harmony.

Cara is also a very passionate Yoga Teacher, and every time she teaches, she enjoys learning something new. The rewards of teaching can be physical - seeing people rediscover their energy and strength, and witnessing their confidence and mobility flourish. But the rewards are also more subtle, meeting and helping people to adjust their practice to suit their individual needs, and feeling the sense of community that sharing a space in class can bring.

Cara is touched by the sense of unity that is created with like-minded people during each session and loves to watch people become immediately more relaxed and open after every class.

Having previously worked in an office herself, she understands the importance of leading a bright balanced life, and feels passionate about counteracting anxiety, stress or physical strain caused by office work.

Her style of teaching combines Yoga with Pilates, Tai Chi & Mindfulness principles all woven together to restore a balance of energy and peace to the body and mind.

Cara enjoys any time with friends, wild-swimming, walking, dancing, cooking and singing. Her passions and inspirations include seeing live music, painting, visiting the sea, surfing, literature based on Fables and Myths.
