Are you heading for burn-out?
A study from OnePoll and Good Technology has revealed just how close we all are to burn out – according to their figures the average white collar employee will work three weeks of overtime every year just through reading and responding to emails and calls while at home.
And that figure doesn’t even start to take in to account the working lunches and late nights at the office.
93% of workers continue to work after they leave the office – for a total of three hours and 31 minutes each week
15% still respond to work emails after 10pm
65% of people don’t go to sleep until they’ve had a final check of their emails
39% regularly check for work emails while at the dinner table
