Nicky is the Founder and Director of Xhilarate Office Massage. She originally trained at Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology where she graduated as highest placed student in June 1999 with a BTEC HND in Beauty Therapy. Prior to launching Xhilarate, Nicky was Senior Therapist at The Spa at County Hall before going on to manage the esteemed and exclusive Chelsea Club Spa for Chelsea Football Club for a further 7 years. It was here that she was awarded with the prestigious title of ‘Body Therapist of the Year’ at the British Beauty Awards in 2002, and became renowned for her massage therapies: her high profile clientele have included Robbie Williams, Mrs Abramovich and the Chelsea football club team.
Drawing on her 10 years of experience in treating high net worth professionals, Nicky realised that there were huge shortfalls in the corporate world when it came to wellness at work and employee wellbeing. Thus, Xhilarate Office Massage was formed in response to the growing need for addressing the ever-increasing levels of stress in the workplace.
Her mission statement is to ‘Deliver a powerfully unique massage experience of outstanding and unrivalled quality that helps to alleviate stress in the workplace, allowing the client to feel instantly calm, focused and refreshed.’ Nicky has a hands on approach to the business and her passion, expertise and dedication to exceeding client satisfaction are what define the Xhilarate Experience.
Nicky is a firm believer in Meditation and has trained in Mindfulness Meditation with both the Now Project and Calmworks. She enjoys running, Pilates, loves to travel and is currently learning French. Nicky also has a keen interest in Photography and has completed a beginners course at City Lit along with several Street Photography workshops.
Favourite quote: ‘A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both’ – LP Jacks
Nina’s journey as a massage therapist began in November 2008 when she completed her NVQ in Beauty Therapy at LCBT. After qualifying with Gateway Workshops, she offered chair massage to friends and family and went on to take a refresher course with Walk in Backrub (July 2015). Whilst working as a Nanny, Krystal gave chair massage treatments to the Mothers she worked for.
Finally, in May 2015, she decided she wanted to work as a Chair Massage Therapist alongside her MA Counselling Degree at Goldmiths University, London (Oct 2015-Sept 2017). Krystal feels that talk and touch therapy go hand in hand. She believes that health is holistic in the sense that mental and physical health are closely linked and wishes to make a difference to the lives of others by providing a space where they can unravel and disconnect from the hustle of life, reflect and enjoy the peace of the present moment.
After taking the foundation day training with Touchpro (May 2016), Krystal began working for Xhilarate. She feels privileged to be able to use the power of touch to help relieve stress and tension in corporate workers and is excited to be a part of the Xhilarate team. Krystal later completed the Advanced Training Day with Touch Pro in July 2017.
Outside of work and study, Krystal enjoys meditation, etymology (history of the English language), creating calligraphy, travelling, dancing and being with nature.

Emma started working for Xhilarate in February 2016 shortly after qualifying in Touch Pro training early in 2016. Emma has also qualified from the School of Healing Arts, Indonesia in Thai Yoga massage.
The body has always been a point of interest for Emma: working with individuals and interacting with their bodies though massage proves extremely rewarding. She enjoys the physical practise of manipulating muscles to help alleviate stress and is fascinated by how this can help heal on many levels, considering how mental health manifests in the body and vice versa.
As well as enjoying travelling and working across London, Emma takes pleasure in working with a diverse clientele through Xhilarate. She is inspired by the way in which on-site massage treatment can allow people to combat stress, tension and fatigue as an effective and powerful solution. She enjoys working by herself as well as in Xhilarate’s tight nit and supportive team.
Outside of Xhilarate Emma works on various collaborative and personal art projects internationally: as an artist she works on sculpture, set design and performance. Currently she is doing MA research on Masks in fine art performance at University Arts London.

Cara is our Yoga teacher and joined the team in September 2015 having qualified as an Ashtanga Yoga teacher in April 2015 (Namaste Italy Yoga School: 200 Hours Yoga Alliance). As part of her Yoga training, she studied Anatomy and Physiology, Thai Massage, Iridology, Shamanism, Pilates, Aerial Yoga, Acro Yoga, Meditation and Breathing Techniques.
Every time Cara teaches, she enjoys learning something new. The rewards of teaching are physical as they would be in practising as a Yogi – e.g. having more energy and strength. But the rewards are also personal, meeting and helping people to adjust their practice to suit their individual needs and limitations, watching them grow stronger and finding different levels of wellbeing within each class. Cara is touched by the sense of unity that is created with like-minded people during each session and loves to watch people become immediately more relaxed and open after every class.
Having previously worked in an office herself, she understands the importance of leading a bright balanced life, and feels passionate about counteracting anxiety, stress or physical strain caused by office work. Her style of teaching combines Yoga with Pilates, Tai Chi and Singing principles that help to alleviate that pressure and ultimately lead to a greater sense of strength and wellbeing.
Cara enjoys socialising with friends, wild-swimming, walking, dancing, and singing. Her passions and inspirations are live music, choirs, Flamenco music and dancing, food from around the world, creative writing, visiting the sea, geology, ceramics and literature based on old Fables and Myths.
